Canada and Sweden will face off in two high-profile exhibition games in Southwestern Ontario ahead of the 2026 World Junior Championship, it was announced on Monday.
The first game between the two nations will take place at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium on Dec. 17, followed by another matchup at Canada Life Place in London on Dec. 20. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
Team Canada will be holding training camp for the world juniors in Niagara Falls at the Gale Centre from Dec. 12–22.
Before the tournament, Canada will conclude its pre-tournament schedule on Dec. 23 against Denmark at Mankato Civic Centre in Mankato, Minnesota.
The 2026 world junior tournament is being held in Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota, from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5. The United States is the two-time defending champion.
