Shane Wright lived up to the anticipation on Friday night in his 2021-22 Ontario Hockey League season debut.
The Kingston Frontenacs forward recorded one goal and two assists en route to the team's 8-1 against the visiting Ottawa 67's. This was Wright's first game since the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the remainder of the 2019-20 season and cancelled the 2020-21 campaign.
Wright is the consensus top prospect in the 2022 NHL Draft. His first goal of the 2021-22 OHL season was a top-shelf shot from the high slot, giving Kingston its seventh goal of the game.
