RIMOUSKI, Que. -- Julien Beland scored 54 seconds into overtime to give the Rimouski Oceanic a 3-2 victory over the Victoriaville Tigres in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Sunday.
Xavier Cormier and Frederic Brunet each had a goal and an assist for the Oceanic, who improved to 3-1-0 on the season.
The Tigres forced overtime when Egor Goriunov put a puck in the back of the net to tie the game at 2-2 with less than 90 seconds left on the clock.
Loick Daigle also scored for Victoriaville (2-1-1).
Patrik Hamrla made 15 saves for the win while Tigres goalie Nikolas Hurtubise stopped 21-of-24 shots.
