QMJHL Roundup: Riley Kidney scores late as Titan down Wildcats

BATHURST, N.B. — Riley Kidney broke a 2-2 deadlock at 19:26 of the third period, and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan came back to beat the Moncton Wildcats 3-2 on Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

Bennett MacArthur tied the game 2-2 at 14:46 of the third for the Titan (18-9-2), with Mathieu Desgagnes assisting on both third-period goals that came while on the power play.

Julien Bourget also scored while Jan Bednar made 25 saves for Acadie-Bathurst.

Jacob Hudson and Owen Stammer supplied the goals for the Wildcats (9-15-3), who got 20 stops from Nicholas Sheehan.

HALIFAX — Thomas Casey had two goals and an assist and Brett Budgell scored once and set up two more as Charlottetown (31-5-0) bounced back from a rare loss to beat the Mooseheads (15-17-9) for its 16th win in 17 contests.
