LANGLEY, B.C. — Connor Levis scored at 7:11 of the third period to snap a 1-1 deadlock and lift the Vancouver Giants to a 3-1 win over the visiting Kamloops Blazers in Western Hockey League action on Sunday at Langley Events Centre.
Tyler Thorpe scored twice for the Giants (7-4-2-0), including an empty-netter with six seconds left in the game. Colton Roberts, Ty Halaburda and Jaden Lipinski all chipped in with two assists.
Conner Radke scored for the Blazers (6-7-1-0), who trailed 1-0 after the first period but headed into the third period of the B.C. Division matchup tied 1-1.
The Giants, who outshot the Blazers 36-26, went 1-for-5 on the power play, while the Blazers were 0-for-2.

SILVERTIPS 4, WINTERHAWKS 2
Ore. — The visiting Everett Silvertips erased a 2-1 second-period deficit with three unanswered goals and skated to a 4-2 win over the Portland Winterhawks.
Tarin Smith, Tyler MacKenzie, Jesse Heslop and Beau Courtney scored for the U.S. Division-leading Silvertips (12-2).
Josh Zakreski and Kyle Chyzowski scored for the Winterhawks (6-6-2-0). Diego Buttazzoni chipped in with two assists.
The Silvertips outshot the Winterhawks 33-20.
