Top French striker Kylian Mbappe has agreed to a deal with Real Madrid, BBC Sport reported on Tuesday.
The reported five-year deal is worth approximately Cdn. $21.9 million a season, along with a $219 million signing bonus.
Mbappe’s contract with Paris St-Germain ends in June. He has a club record 244 career goals in 291 games since joining PSG in 2017.
The captain of the French national team, Mbappe won the World Cup with France in 2018 and was runner-up in 2022 when he set a record with a hat trick in the final.
Mbappe, 25, is a three-time member of the FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World 11 team.
