At the best of times, the final stage of LPGA Q-Series is a long, stressful tournament.
It's about to get even more challenging for Canada's Alena Sharp and others trying to lock down a tour card for next year.
Rain in Mobile, Ala., during the fifth and final round on Monday made the course unplayable.
The golfers will return to the course on Tuesday morning for the completion of the tournament.
Sharp, through four holes of the final round, is tied for 12th at 8-under overall.
The top 25 and ties earn LPGA Tour cards for 2025.
The Hamilton-born Sharp, 43, finished outside the top 100 in the tour standings on partial status last season, forcing her back to Q-school. She first qualified for the LPGA Tour in 2005.
Six under is the current cutline for the top 25.
Chisato Iwai of Japan leads the way at 21 under through two holes of the final round.
The other Canadians will need huge finishes to have a chance.
Maude-Aimée Leblanc of Sherbrooke, Que., is 2 under through six holes, Monet Chun of Richmond Hill, Ont., is even through six holes, and Maddie Szeryk of London, Ont., is 1 over through two holes.
