Canada's Savannah Grewal needs one more good round to lock down an LPGA Tour card for 2024.
The 22-year-old from Mississauga, Ont., is tied for 11th at the third and final stage of the LPGA Q-Series after five rounds of the six-round event in Mobile, Ala.
The top 45 and ties earn LPGA Tour cards for 2024, with the top 20 getting better status.
Grewal, who turned pro before the third stage of Q-Series, shot 1-under 71 on Tuesday and is now 14 under for the tournament.
The Canadian is 13 shots behind leader So Mi Lee of South Korea.
Grewal finished her fourth year at Clemson University in South Carolina with a school-record 71.77 stroke average.
Meanwhile, Maddie Szeryk of London, Ont., who finished 102nd this year in the LPGA standings and just missed the 100-player cutoff to keep her card, is tied for 35th at 9 under after shooting 4-under 68 in the fifth round.
Hamilton's Alena Sharp is tied for 60th at 5 under, three strokes back of the top 45.
