For the first time in Toronto Blue Jays history, four batters have reached 100 RBIs in the same season.
Bo Bichette hit a solo home run in the bottom of the third inning against the New York Yankees on Wednesday, joining Teoscar Hernandez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Marcus Semien as players who've reached the centennial RBI mark.
With Bichette's bomb off Gerrit Cole, the Blue Jays became the first team with four 100-plus RBI batters in a single season since the Atlanta Braves in 2003. They're also the first team to do so with solely right-handed batters in American League history.
With Bo Bichette's solo Home Run to make it 4-0...#WeAreBlueJays are 1st team with 4 players with 100+ RBI in a season since the 2003 Braves (Andruw Jones, Chipper Jones, Gary Sheffield & Javy Lopez)

As if a single dinger hadn't already made enough history, Bichette broke a franchise record for home runs by a shortstop with 27. The previous record of 26 was set by Tony Batista in 1999.
