Biggio, who is starting at third base and batting eighth in the lineup Friday, has been sidelined since May 22 with a cervical spine ligament sprain. He had been limited to a DH role due to his neck issues.
The 26-year-old has batted .205 with a .630 OPS, 11 RBIs and three home runs over 39 games this season.
