Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah has been named to the First Team in this year's All-MLB selections, an honour that recognizes excellence achieved over the full breadth of a big league season.
Manoah, who was a finalist for this year's American League Cy Young award, finished the 2022 season with a 16-7 record, posting a 2.24 ERA, a 0.992 WHIP and 180 strikeouts. He joins Sandy Alcantara, Shohei Ohtani, Framber Valdez and Justin Verlander in the All-MLB rotation.
In 2021 four Blue Jays received honours, with Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Marcus Semien and Robbie Ray named to the First Team and Teoscar Hernandez named to the Second Team.
