Eloy Jimenez's time with the Toronto Blue Jays has come to an end.
The slugger cleared waivers on Saturday and elected free agency, the team announced.
Jimenez was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Wednesday when George Springer was activated off the 10-day injured list.
The 29-year-old appeared in 12 games with Toronto, slashing .290/.343/.290 with three RBIs in 31 at-bats.
Jimenez will now look for his fourth major league squad. He previously spent 2019-23 with the Chicago White Sox and 2024 with the Baltimore Orioles, but didn't play in the MLB in 2025.
