Eric Lauer clearly wasn't ready to be on the mound on Sunday.
The Toronto Blue Jays starter was pulled after just two innings against the Chicago White Sox.
He pitched on Sunday after his start was pushed back a day because he was dealing with an illness.
After the game, Lauer told reporters that his illness was "probably the worst (he's) ever had it."
Lauer didn't look like himself in his limited work. He pitched into the third inning, allowing one run on three hits and three walks.
Austin Voth, who was called up from triple-A earlier on Sunday, was brought in to relieve Lauer.
The Blue Jays ultimately lost 3-0 and were swept by Chicago.
