Blue Jays' Espinal leaves game vs. Tigers with right hip flexor strain

Santiago Espinal is out of Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers.

The Toronto Blue Jays infielder was removed after suffering a right hip flexor strain, the team announced.

Espinal exited after the second inning and was replaced by Breyvic Valera.

The infielder had one at-bat, a groundout to Tigers pitcher Jose Urena.
