Toronto Blue Jays' big-name free-agent acquisition George Springer is returning to the lineup Thursday after missing two exhibition games with abdominal tightness.

The Jays take on the Tigers at 1:07 p.m. in Dunedin, Fla., on Thursday and Springer will draw in as the leadoff hitter.

In Grapefruit League action, the centre fielder has three hits and eight plate appearances in three games this spring.
