The Toronto Blue Jays have a key name back in the lineup on Friday.
Outfielder George Springer will start the opener of a three-game set against the visiting Seattle Mariners after missing most of the previous series with a left wrist injury.
Springer left Sunday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after sustaining the ailment, and only appeared in the ensuing three-game series against the Atlanta Braves as a field substitute.
Through 16 games, Springer is batting a league-leading .400 to go with two home runs and 10 RBIs.
The 35-year-old also left a game against the New York Mets earlier in April after crashing into an outfield wall. The team said he was experiencing lower back spasms, but he returned one day later as a pinch runner.
Springer will bat fifth on Friday against Mariners starter Bryan Woo. Toronto will counter with Bowden Francis.
