Vladimir Guerrero Jr.‘s red-hot start in the Dominican Winter League continues.
In another big night at the plate Tuesday, the 21-year-old Toronto Blue Jays slugger went two-for-five with a bases-clearing double in Leones del Escogido’s 4-0 win over Tigres del Licey on Tuesday.
Guerrero Jr. showed off his opposite-field pop with a 10th-inning two-bagger that bounced off the wall, cashing Estevan Florial, Jeison Guzman and Cesar Puello.

Guerrero Jr. hit two home runs last week in his previous game for Leones and is slashing .375/.375/.875 with two jacks and five RBIs in four games so far.
He’s also impressed with his newfound commitment to fitness this off-season, and is trying to get reps at third base in winter ball — although he DH’d Tuesday — as he hopes to earn another shot at the hot corner with the Blue Jays next season.
