Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has been removed from Wednesday night's game against the Seattle Mariners with left hamstring tightness, the team announced.
Raimel Tapia entered the game to replace Gurriel Jr. The 28-year-old has struggled with hamstring issues in the past and sat a game out on April 26.
Gurriel Jr. was 0-for-2 from the plate before leaving Wednesday game and was struck out once.
