Tyler Rogers is officially a member of the Toronto Blue Jays.
After it was reported Friday that Toronto had landed the side armer, the Blue Jays formally announced Rogers' three-year, $37-million contract with an option for 2029 on Monday.
To make room for its latest off-season addition on the 40-man roster, Toronto designated left-handed reliever Justin Bruihl for assignment.
Rogers, 34, posted a 1.98 ERA over 77.1 innings split between the San Francisco Giants and New York Mets in 2025.
Originally drafted by San Francisco in 2013, Rogers debuted with the club in 2019 and spent the first six-and-a-half years of his career with the Giants before being traded to Queens at the trade deadline.
Rogers has emerged as one of baseball's most consistent relievers since locking down a spot in the Giants' bullpen. Since 2021, he has a 2.71 ERA, 16 saves and 263 strikeouts over 378.1 innings.
The right-hander joins Dylan Cease, Cody Ponce and Chase Lee as pitching help the Blue Jays have acquired following their run to Game 7 of the World Series.
Bruihl, meanwhile, landed in Toronto on a minor-league deal in March. He was eventually selected to the major-league roster in June and ended up throwing 13.2 innings in 15 appearances for the Blue Jays with a 5.27 ERA.
The 28-year-old southpaw was also on Toronto's post-season roster for its American League Division Series win over the New York Yankees, allowing two runs in just 0.1 of an inning's work.
