As the Toronto Blue Jays work towards Opening Day, the front office continues to tinker with the roster.
Left-handed pitcher Adam Macko has been optioned to triple A Buffalo, the team announced on Tuesday.
Macko spent 2025 split between the Florida Complex League and triple A. Most of that time was spent with the Bisons, posting a 5.06 ERA over 64.0 innings while holding a 3-8 record through 10 starts.
The 25-year-old has made two appearances for the Blue Jays during 2026 spring training, striking out two batters over three innings, before leaving to represent Canada at the upcoming World Baseball Classic.
In a tune-up game against the Blue Jays on Tuesday, Canada's Macko pitched one scoreless inning while allowing one hit.
Macko was originally a seventh-round pick of the Seattle Mariners in 2019.
Meanwhile, the Blue Jays assigned right-handers Fernando Perez and Gage Stanifer to Minor League camp.
