The Toronto Blue Jays have cut down their roster in major-league camp.
Toronto optioned pitchers Jake Bloss and Ricky Tiedemann to triple-A and re-assigned right-handers Tanner Andrews, Nate Garkow, and Chay Yeager to minor-league camp.
Tiedemann and Bloss had yet to pitch for the Blue Jays this spring, as both work back from injury.
Tiedmann felt left elbow soreness during a side session earlier in camp and was backed off from throwing by the team.
Formerly the club's top prospect, Tiedemann missed all of 2025 after undergoing Tommy John surgery the previous summer.
Bloss, meanwhile, underwent UCL reconstruction surgery early last season. He was acquired by Toronto from the Houston Astros at the 2024 trade deadline as part of the return for Yusei Kikuchi.
Andrews, 30, signed a minor-league deal with the Blue Jays this off-season that came with an invite to spring training.
He pitched in three games for Toronto and didn't allow a run.
Yeager and Garkow were both internal non-roster invites by the Blue Jays this spring.
Yeager didn't pitch in a game and underwent UCL reconstruction surgery of his own on Feb. 25, ending his season.
Garkow, 28, posted a 13.50 ERA over three spring appearances.
