Mother Nature is throwing her hat into the American League playoff race.
Monday's series opener between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles began in a rain delay at Camden Yards.
Baltimore later announced that the game will begin at approximately 7:20 p.m. ET / 4:20 p.m. PT.
The contest, which is set to see Trey Yesavage make his return to the mound opposite Orioles righty Shane Baz, was originally scheduled for 6:35 p.m. ET / 3:35 p.m. PT.
Both the Blue Jays (77-79) and the Orioles (75-81) are trying to hold onto their fading post-season hopes, essentially needing to run the table and get some help to sneak their way into October.
