Pete Walker was not happy and he let the home plate umpire know it.
But whatever the Toronto Blue Jays pitching coach said got him ejected from Monday's game against the Baltimore Orioles.
Walker was tossed by home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi in the top of the fourth after Kevin Gausman's first pitch to Austin Hayes was called a ball. Walker appeared to yell a few comments toward Cuzzi before handing his notes to manager John Schneider and departing the dugout.
Five pitches later, Hayes took Gausman deep with a two-run homer — his first of the season — to extend Baltimore's lead to 5-1.
