The Toronto Blue Jays have placed catcher Danny Jansen on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain, the team announced on Friday.
Alejandro Kirk has been recalled from Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move will be active for Friday’s game against the New York Mets.

Kirk, 22, has batted .225/.326/.475 with three home runs and eight RBI in 17 games with the Blue Jays this season.
