The Toronto Blue Jays organization earned another Gold Glove, with minor league outfielder Dasan Brown winning the award, the team announced Monday.
Brown was recognized for his play with High-A Vancouver and Double-A New Hampshire. In 100 games, Brown committed only one error and recorded 226 putouts, six outfield assists, and a .996 fielding percentage.
He played all three outfield positions across the two minor-league levels this season but spent the majority of his time in centrefield.
The 23-year-old also hit .246/.342/.381 with eight home runs and 41 RBI last season.
The Blue Jays selected the Oakville, Ont., native in the third round of the 2019 MLB Draft
