The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled outfielder Nathan Lukes from triple-A Buffalo and sent fellow outfielder Jordan Luplow down to their top minor-league affiliate, the team announced Monday.
Lukes made the Blue Jays' Opening Day roster before he was optioned to Buffalo on April 7 to make room for Luplow, who was claimed off waivers from the Atlanta Braves.
Lukes, 28, hasn't had an at-bat in the majors. He is slashing .333/.448/.500 with one homer and six RBI in six games with Buffalo this year.
Luplow has no hits in six at-bats with the Blue Jays this season.
