Blue Jays recall Trent Thornton, will be active vs. Mets

The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled pitcher Trent Thornton from triple-A Buffalo and will be active for Sunday's game against the New York Mets.

Outfielder Jonathan Davis has been optioned to Buffalo in a corresponding move.

Thronton, 27, has a 1-3 record with a 4.78 ERA and 1.43 WHIP in 37.2 innings of work this season.
