The Toronto Blue Jays made several roster moves on Thursday prior to their game against the Minnesota Twins.

INF Breyvic Valera reinstated from COVID-related IL and will be active tonight
RHP Thomas Hatch recalled from Triple-A and will be active tonight
LHP Tayler Saucedo optioned to Triple-A

Infielder Breyvic Valera was reinstated from the COVID-related injured list. Valera will be active on the Blue Jays roster on Thursday.
Right-handed pitcher Thomas Hatch was recalled from the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons. Hatch, who is 0-0 with a 4.70 ERA, will also be active for Thursday’s game against the Twins.
Being sent back to the Bisons is left-handed pitcher Taylor Saucedo. The 28-year-old pitched 1.1 innings against the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday, giving up two runs on four hits.
Infielder Jake Lamb is being designated for assignment. Through 144 at-bats in 2021, Lamb has a .194/.306/.368 slash line with seven home runs and 19 RBIs.
