Ryan Burr's appearance didn't last long on Wednesday.
The Toronto Blue Jays reliever exited in the bottom of the seventh inning against the Chicago White Sox after looking uncomfortable after he missed on a 2-2 slider.
The 31-year-old right-hander lasted just 0.2 innings before being forced to exit the game. Yariel Rodiguez came into the game and finished the seventh inning with a one-pitch strikeout.
After the game, manager John Schneider told reporters that Burr left the game with a shoulder injury and will travel back to Toronto for an MRI.
Burr was activated by the Blue Jays on July 5 after opening the season on the IL with a right shoulder injury.
He entered Wednesday's game with just 1.1 innings of work this season.
