The Toronto Blue Jays' bullpen churn has resulted in a pair of departures.
Relief pitchers Josh Fleming and Austin Voth both cleared waivers after being designated for assignment and elected free agency on Thursday, the Blue Jays announced.
Voth was part of the corresponding move when Brendon Little and Lazaro Estrada were optioned to triple-A Buffalo on April 5.
The 33-year-old right-hander made only one appearance for the Blue Jays, allowing one run and four baserunners while recording one strikeout over 2.2 innings against the Chicago White Sox. Voth had last pitched in the majors in 2024 with the Seattle Mariners and spent 2025 pitching in Nippon Professional Baseball.
Fleming was selected the following day with Voth's DFA coming as the corresponding move.
He joined the Blue Jays this past off-season after spending all of 2025 as a reliever with the Mariners' triple-A affiliate. He posted a 4.91 ERA over 84.1 innings while striking out 44 last season in the minors.
Fleming also made only one appearance with the Blue Jays, entering in relief of Max Scherzer after the veteran righty exited his start against the Los Angeles Dodgers after two innings on Monday due to right forearm tendinitis.
The 29-year-old lefty allowed four runs over three innings.
The Blue Jays are aiming to stabilize their staff after using 18 pitchers over the first 12 games of the season, leading the majors.
