The Toronto Blue Jays announced that they agreed to terms with 27 international free agents on Wednesday.
The class features players from four countries, with 13 players from Venezuela, 11 from the Dominican Republic, two from Cuba, and one European signing from the Netherlands.
Among the signees are Venezuelan catcher Juan Caricote and a host of position players and arms from Latin America, as well as Alex Linares and other prospects from the Dominican Republic. The Dutch prospect is lefty pitcher Celwin Hurkmans.
