The Toronto Blue Jays have added another arm to the team's prospect pool.
The Blue Jays announced Wednesday an agreement with international free-agent right-handed pitcher Seojun Moon.
Moon, 18, is the first Korean-born international signing in Blue Jays history.
A six-foot-four pitcher, Moon had a 2.18 ERA in 24 high school games with 93 strikeouts and no home runs allowed over 66 innings.
The signing comes after the successful development of pitching prospect Trey Yesavage this season. Yesavage rose through five levels of the organization to reach the majors earlier this month after being a first-round pick by the Blue Jays in 2024.
