Blue Jays trade RHP Jeremy Beasley to Pirates for cash considerations

The Toronto Blue Jays have traded right-handed pitcher Jeremy Beasley to the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for cash considerations, the team announced Tuesday.

Beasley, 26, has appeared in nine games for the Blue Jays in the 2022 season, holding a 4.80 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP.

The native of Lyons, GA, was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in 2017 in the 30th round and made his Major League debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2020.

Over the span of three MLB campaigns, the 6'2" reliever has gone 0-1 with a 5.84 ERA.
