The Toronto Blue Jays have traded right-handed pitcher Ty Tice to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for cash considerations, the club announced Friday.
Tice, who was designated for assignment by Toronto on May 30, made four appearances for the Blue Jays this season, posting a 5.14 ERA with four walks and six strikeouts.
The 24-year-old was originally added in the 16th round of the 2017 First-Year Player Draft, debuting earlier this year with a pair of scoreless innings against the Los Angeles Angels.
