The Toronto Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. experiment continues on Tuesday.
For the second time in three days, the Blue Jays will start their usual first baseman at third base against the Baltimore Orioles.
Before Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Guerrero hadn't started at third since his rookie 2019 season. He broke into the pro ranks as a third basemen before the Blue Jays switched him to first base in 2020.
The move allows the Blue Jays to focus on offence, putting another potentially good bat into a lineup, which has been inconsistent, at best, most of the season.
As with the lineup on Sunday, Daniel Vogelbach will DH and Justin Turner will play first base. Isiah Kiner-Filefa starts at second base.
The pitching matchup is not favourable for the Blue Jays as normal reliever Trevor Richards starts in place of the injured Alek Manoah. Three-time All-Star Corbin Burnes is on the mound for Baltimore.
Watch the Blue Jays-Orioles game, starting at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet or Sportsnet+.
