The 22-year-old dominated at the plate this week hitting .391 with eight runs scored, three home runs, seven RBIs and four walks with a .826 slugging percentage. Those three home runs included his Major-League leading 26th and marked the third time this season he has homered in three straight games.
Guerrero currently leads all American League batters with 94 hits, 66 RBIs, a .443 on-base percentage, .684 slugging percentage and 1.127 OPS. He has only failed to record a hit in four of his 24 games this month.
San Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth was named the NL Player of the Week, making him the fourth different Padres player to win the honour this season.
