Toronto Blue Jays slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was named a finalist for an American League Silver Slugger Award on Monday.
Guerrero Jr. hit .323/.396/.544 with 30 home runs and 103 RBI. He also earned the most offensive WAR among first basemen at 6.3.
He was named an All-Star for the fourth time in his six-year career
Guerrero Jr. took home his first and only Silver Slugger award back in 2021 when he hit .311/.401/.601, 111 RBIs and a major league-leading 48 home runs.
Naylor, from Mississauga, Ont., led all AL first basemen with 31 homers and 108 RBIs. Santana hit 23 homers and drove in 71 runs.
Awards are presented to 10 players in each league. They include one catcher, one designated hitter, one utility player, one player at each infield position and three outfielders.
The manager and three coaches from every big-league team vote for the winners, which will be announced Nov. 12.
