Tuesday's game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox was called in the top of the seventh due to rain.
Since five innings had been completed, the Blue Jays took home a 6-1 victory, extending their win streak to 10 games.
Nathan Lukes was at the plate with a 3-1 count when the grounds crew brought the tarp onto the field.
Davis Schneider started the scoring in a five-run third with a solo shot off White Sox starter Aaron Civale before the Blue Jays brought across four more runs on RBI knocks from Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Addison Barger and Alejandro Kirk.
Chris Bassitt pitched all six innings for the Blue Jays, allowing just four hits and one earned run. He was at 78 pitches.
Toronto now stands one win away from tying the franchise-record streak of 11, reached five times previously in Blue Jays history.
Left-hander Eric Lauer is scheduled to pitch against the White Sox on Wednesday.
You can watch as the Blue Jays look to even the record on Sportsnet or Sportsnet+. First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. ET / 11:10 a.m. PT.
