For the second straight year, the Toronto Blue Jays have won the American League Team Gold Glove Award.
The award has been given out since 2020, when Rawlings expanded the Gold Glove honours to include the top defensive team in both the American and National League.
Toronto led all of baseball with 102 defensive runs saved (DRS) in 2024 and finished fourth in outs above average (OAA) with 26. The Blue Jays finished the season with a .984 fielding percentage.
Daulton Varsho won this year's Gold Glove award for his work in centre field, leading the American League with 16 DRS at the position. He also recorded 12 DRS in left field.
Some other defensive standouts on Toronto's roster included Alejandro Kirk, who recorded 13 DRS, Kevin Kiemaier, who in half a season racked up nine, Ernie Clement, who was a finalist for the Gold Glove at third base and Isiah Kiner-Falefa in multiple positions before being traded.
The Milwaukee Brewers took home the NL honours for the second consecutive season, as well.
