Saturday's game between the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees officially entered a rain delay, heading into the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Yankees announced on their social media that the game is expected to resume at approximately 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT.
Tarps came onto the field after Bo Bichette was thrown out attempting to score on a Nathan Lukes single to right field. Bichette came up limping on the play.
There was no immediate update on Bichette's status.
New York held a 2-1 lead after pushing a pair of runs across in the second inning.
Chris Bassitt had thrown 80 pitches over five innings for Toronto, allowing three hits and two walks. Both runs allowed were unearned after an error by Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Toronto scored in the fourth inning when Isiah Kiner-Falefa drove Bichette in on a groundout.
After the Blue Jays beat the Yankees in Friday's series opener, they held a four-game lead over New York in the AL East standings.
