Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. and a pair of Los Angeles Dodgers teammates are finalists for the National League MVP Award.
Mookie Betts — who won the AL MVP award in 2018 — and Freddie Freeman — the 2020 NL MVP — are the other finalists.
Acuna lit MLB on fire this season, becoming the first player ever to hit 40 home runs and steal 70 bases. He finished the season with 41 home runs and 73 stolen bases to help Atlanta win an MLB-best 104 games.
Betts posted a .987 OPS after hitting 39 home runs and collecting 107 RBIs. He continued his offence dominance despite splitting time between the infield and outfield for the first time in his career.
Freeman appeared in 161 games for the Dodgers this season and led the NL with 59 doubles, while hitting 29 home runs and posting a .976 OPS.
