The Atlanta Braves' Brian Snitker, Miami Marlins' Skip Schumaker and Milwaukee Brewers' Craig Counsell were named the finalists for the NL Manager of the Year Monday night.
Snitker is a finalist for the sixth straight year after leading the NL East champs to an MLB-best 104 wins. He won the award in 2018.
Former Brewers manager Counsell is a finalist for the sixth time in his career. Earlier Monday, Counsell agreed to become manager of the Chicago Cubs after his contract with the Brewers expired.
Schumaker was named a finalist in his first year as an MLB manager, guiding the Marlins to a spot in the post-season despite scoring the least total runs in the National League.
