Daniel Vogelbach is back in the bigs.
The Milwaukee Brewers have hired the former MLB slugger as a hitting coach, the team announced on Monday.
Vogelbach, 33, last played in the majors with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2024, his second stint with the team after also appearing in two games in 2020. The left-handed-hitting first baseman also spent parts of the 2020 and 2021 seasons with Milwaukee.
Now, he's set to rejoin the Brewers alongside former Blue Jays hitting coach Guillermo Martinez under lead hitting coach Eric Thiesen.
The Brewers placed third in MLB last season with 806 runs, but managed to cross the plate just four times in a four-game NLDS sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In 603 career games, Vogelbach hit 81 home runs with a .219 batting average. He also spent time with the Seattle Mariners, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Mets.
Martinez, meanwhile, was fired by the Blue Jays after the 2024 season following five years in the role.
