Los Angeles Dodgers star Cody Bellinger will be the designated hitter during Game 4 of the World Series, the team announced.

A.J. Pollock will start in centrefield in Bellinger's place. Earlier in the day, the Dodgers had the two players flipped on the lineup card but Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports Bellinger will be sat on defence due to some lower-back stiffness.

Pollock replaces Austin Barnes, who caught Walker Buehler in Game 3, in the lineup. Will Smith, who was DH in Game 3, will catch Julio Urias in Game 4. Chris Taylor, who played second base in Game 3, has been moved to left field in place of Joc Pederson, who won't start Game 4 to make room for Kiki Hernandez to play second.

Bellinger is hitting .236/.344/.527 with four home runs and 12 RBIs in the post-season.
