Five members of the 2023 Toronto Blue Jays were announced Wednesday as nominees for the All-MLB Team.
Shortstop Bo Bichette, third baseman Matt Chapman, relief pitcher Jordan Romano and starting pitchers Kevin Gausman and Chris Bassitt received the nominations.
The selections for the All-MLB first and second teams will be announced Dec. 16 during the MLB Network’s All-MLB Team Show. Voting is determined equally through fan voting (open now until Nov. 19) and a panel of media members, broadcasters, former players and other officials.
The choices are based off the 2023 regular season.
The first and second team will each have a catcher, first baseman, second baseman, third baseman, shortstop, three outfielders (without regard for left/centre/right) and designated hitter, along with five starting pitchers and two relief pitchers.
