It's safe to say that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. isn't interested in exchanging his Toronto Blue Jays uniform for pinstripes anytime soon.
Speaking to Vincent Carmona Arias on his YouTube channel El Dotol Nastra, Guerrero Jr. was asked about his favourite city to play in while on the road, which garnered a quick reply.
"I like to play in New York," Guerrero Jr. responded, "I like to kill the Yankees."
That makes sense given Guerrero Jr.'s success at the plate at Yankee Stadium. He is batting .289/.344/.579 with 10 home runs and 17 RBI in 31 career games in the Bronx.
Arias then asked Guerrero Jr. if he'd ever sign with the Yankees given that comment. The Blue Jays slugger simply said: "not even dead."
The Yankees can probably count themselves out of the Guerrero Jr. sweepstakes if he hits free agency in 2026, then.
