The New York Mets brought some much-needed action on Thursday to what has been a pretty slow MLB off-season so far with the blockbuster acquisition of Francisco Lindor and Carlos Carrasco.
While the deal will be a tough pill to swallow for most Cleveland fans, Mets faithful are undoubtedly thrilled with the big splash their team made.
So too, of course, are Mets players, and one of Lindor's and Carrasco's new teammates, Marcus Stroman, took to Twitter as news of the trade was breaking to voice his excitement.
Like most of us, Stroman's initial reaction to the news of a pending deal was shock.

And that shock quickly became even more excitement as reports surfaced that Carrasco was involved.
I’m so excited...I’m about to go get another workout in. Have to use this energy! Lol

Praise of new Mets owner Steve Cohen soon followed.
And then more elation over the addition of a pair of new top-notch teammates.
We couldn't agree more.
