The Toronto Blue Jays announced that new acquisitions Whit Merrifield, Anthony Bass and Zach Pop have reported to the team and will be active against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday night.

Merrifield will hit eighth in the lineup and play in centre field while Bass and Pop will be available out of the bullpen. After a three-game absence, George Springer will make his return to the lineup, batting leadoff as the designated hitter.

To make room for the trio, the Blue Jays have optioned catcher Zack Collins, left-hander Matt Gage and right-hander Matt Peacock to triple-A Buffalo.

Merrifield, Bass and Pop were all acquired prior to Tuesday's trade deadline.
