MLB announces six new positive COVID-19 results in past week

MLB and MLBPA announced Friday that there have been six new positive COVID-19 results after 11,713 tests were conducted in the past week.

The results include three players and three staff members and amount to a positivity rate of 0.05 per cent.

To date, there have been 111,312 tests conducted with 31 total positive tests (20 players, 11 staff) among 17 different clubs for a positivity rate of 0.03 per cent.
