MLB cancels owners meetings, winter meetings; will be conducted remotely

Major League Baseball has cancelled its upcoming owners meetings and winter meetings, and, instead, the agendas will be conducted remotely as necessary, the league announced Friday.

The owners meetings had been scheduled for Nov. 17 to Nov. 19 in Arlington, Texas, while the winter meetings were expected to take place between Dec. 7 and Dec. 10 in Dallas.
